The flagship product of the Pucci Bakery in Cirò Marina  it is "BREAD with SOURDOUGH matured 24 hours"just like Nonno Giorgio did, thus maintaining the ancient tradition of bread-making.  

The Wonders of Our Artisan Bread:

- a longer duration, since the acid fermentation inhibits the production of moulds;
- a much more intense aroma due to bacterial fermentation;
- a reduction in the glycemic index;
- greater digestibility, thanks to the presence of enzymes in the yeast which, during long periods of rest, transform the dough, giving rise to a pre-digestion process, thus facilitating the task of our digestive system, a little like occurs in yogurt, thus facilitating the task of our digestive system.

  • INGREDIENTS: re-milled Altamura durum wheat semolina, salt, yeast, natural yeast, water.
  • USE: sliced bread for meals, bruschetta, croutons for soup. If you prefer it crunchy, warm it up
  • slightly before use.
  • ALLERGENS: Contains Gluten. May contain traces of: eggs, peanuts, soy, milk, nuts, sesame seeds
  • SHELF LIFE: 10 days, in a linen or paper bag, at room temperature.
  • CONTAMINANTS: Compliant with current European and Italian legislation regarding maximum levels
  • of contaminants in food products, including toxins and heavy metals. Product free from organisms
  • genetically modified (GMO)

All the ingredients used (flour, oil, yeast, etc.), rigorously of Italian origin, are selected with extreme care.  Thanks to the use of mother yeast, bread takes much longer to ferment and rise than others
types of bread and this also gives it a particular consistency and lightness, makes it much more digestible than bread fermented with brewer's yeast, and keeps longer.
