Another traditional masterpiece.

Pitta nchiusa (or pitta 'mpigliata) is a typical Calabrian dessert, originally from San Giovanni in Fiore but very widespread throughout the province of Cosenza and Crotone.

It is a dessert prepared during all festive periods. It is a sheet of crunchy pastry enriched with raisins, honey, walnuts and almonds: an excellent mix capable of enhancing every flavour!

The dried fruit used for the filling is selected and mixed with the other ingredients so as to give the filling of the pastry a delicate flavor that will take you back to Calabria.

Slow and delicate cooking gives this splendid dessert its typical and recognizable colour.

*It is recommended to consume them within 90 days.
