Sulla (Hedysarum coronarium) is a herbaceous plant that belongs to the legume family; in spring between the months of April and June it covers the countryside fields of the southern and central regions of our country with its bright red-purple colour. It is in this period that honey bees produce this delicately flavored honey with a white to pale yellow color and a vegetal and sometimes citrus aroma.
