Hello dear grandsons and granddaughters, today Nonna Rosina reveals the Amaretti recipe.


  • 6 Egg Whites
  • 500 grams of almond flour
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla sugar.

Mix the sugar and the almond flour, then whisk the eggs until stiff and mix the ingredients with the eggs.

Always work the dough with a wooden spoon, just as the Calabrian tradition dictates, until it forms a ball. Then spin them into balls of any size, on top of a little icing sugar and the almond.+

Bake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees. Please check often as sometimes they are ready even earlier.
